I loved these soft black eyes with lemon yellow lashes looking at me while I harvested veg & herbs in my garden. These produced small but profuse amounts of blooms all summer long and right into fall. These made great bouquets for the farmers market! I will definately grow these again. Height was approx. 7-8 ft. Very thin stem but extremely sturdy.
My stems were thinner where they didn't get full sun, and those I had moved as seedlings had thicker stems. Yours sure were pretty there! The squirrels knocked some of ours over, and took the flowers off before the seeds were even ripe. I haven't decided if I"m growing more next year.
